At the first “Digital Signage Preaward 2009,” “Tendence at RESTIR,” produced by AITIA, was selected for the Excellence Award in the Landscape category!

Until now, domestic interactive awards typically only accepted entries for web-centered rich content using Flash and similar technologies, or OOH campaigns linked to them—this was the prevailing situation.
The work I had been doing primarily consisted of producing interactive OOH not linked to the web, so I continued to be in a situation where I didn’t even qualify to enter awards.
However, this time the Digital Signage Consortium hosted Japan’s first award targeting digital signage creative and products, and I was honored to receive the Excellence Award in the Landscape category.
This is a very joyful occasion for Aitia Corporation, but personally, this award holds deep significance for me. The main reason is that while my usual role within the company centered on production work, for this project I also handled internal direction and engaged with external parties including the client, which broadened my scope of work.
I’m truly grateful to our client RESTIR and to REALDEAR, who handled the direction.
Moving forward, I will work even harder with greater dedication to live up to this honor.
